Hola, I’m Sara!

I specialise in empowering creatives to unlock their potential and create authentic work they are passionate about. But… how did I get here? From working with tiny humans to seasoned professionals, my journey looks something like this:

  • Art Teacher in schools. I spent the best time creating and building cool masterpieces with 3-6-year-olds.

  • Co-founder of Art Placebo, a pop-up space to help professionals unleash their creativity through art-making and collaboration.

  • Mentor with I LIKE NETWORKING and Ok Mentor. I've helped young creatives to navigate their creative careers.

  • Content & Curation Manager at Domestika. I helped over 100 established creatives transform their creative processes into engaging learning content.

  • Senior Programme Manager for D&AD Shift. I’m leading an award-winning night school supporting non-traditional creatives entering the industry.

If you’re ready to take the steps towards a more creative and fulfilling life, it’s time to join the Creative Compass in Autumn of 2025.

What People Are Saying

“I signed up as I was feeling creatively uninspired and burned out. During the programme, I met a lot of like-minded people also struggling with their creativity. Through the weekly exercises and check-ins, I began to let go of my imposter syndrome and perfectionist tendencies and started to just have fun with creativity again. I've since signed up to a weekly art studio session, and have made drawing part of my weekly routine.”

— Justin

“This program is amazingly helpful and encouraging! It smoothly reminds us, without pressure and the stress of perfection, that we all hold space for creativity inside us. I was happy to start leaving behind the perfectionism and focus on the joy of the process. I loved Sara's positive energy and the cool atmosphere she brought during the sessions, and the warm communication among the participants. It is totally worth it and will change your life. 💛”

— Maria

I loved the Creative Compass. It’s a very well-rounded program, full of valuable resources, a journey of introspection, and an opportunity to really examine and understand yourself, both as a person and as a creative. It helped me become more aware of where I am, where I want to go, and what’s getting in the way. It gave me the tools to reflect on important aspects of my creative path and to get to know myself more deeply. I would 100% recommend it. It was a beautiful, safe space where we could express both the highs and lows of the creative journey without fear of judgment, and be reminded that we’re not as alone as we sometimes think we are.

— Melanie

I haven’t been happy at work, and I hoped that the course would allow me to find time to and space to be creative again, which would lead me to some ideas of what I would like to do post maternity leave. I found a great network of people and some very cool resources to support me in my journey. I may have been overzealous in trying to manage a toddler, a newborn, and a new project; however, when I was able to focus, I was super happy. Sara was a great support, and I really warmed to her flexible and easy approach. She was always there with advice and gentle encouragement, which is just what I needed in such a vulnerable place in my life.
